The Plan

As my thirtieth birthday was just around the corner, I began feeling very hopeless about my weight. I had spent the past five years the heaviest I had ever been and I started to believe that I would just have to accept being big for the rest of my life. I just felt like giving up. One day I was watching Rachael Ray and she had a woman on the show getting a makeover. This woman had lost 200 lbs in 13 months and she looked amazing. She had lost the weight by eating eight ounces of food every 3 hours.



I was so impressed with this woman! I actually believed this was something I could do. I had renewed hope!

So that brings me to my new journey on the 3 hour diet. I am going to follow what was listed on her paper:
Eat 8 oz food every 3 hours
No sugary Drinks
Don't skip a 3 hour meal
Don't tell anyone what you are doing
(I guess I'm not doing my best with this one...lol)



I am always hungry when I am on any diet so being able to eat every 3 hours might be the key to my success. I may tweak the program as needed, but right now I will be sticking to it to as is.

Off and On


I have been dieting off and on for about 11 years. More off than on, especially after I met my husband five years ago. I have weighed everything from 140 to about 240 in the last 11 years. I am very ashamed of how big that I have become that I no longer weigh myself, so I can only guess how much I weigh. This is why I am starting the Get Fit Now Project. I do not want to be ashamed anymore! Now is the time to do this! I hope you come along with me on this journey...
